AROTECH RECEIVES OVER $1.5 MILLION IN BATTERY ORDERS FROM A MAJOR ELECTRONIC DEFENSE COMPANY


Ann Arbor, Michigan, March 14, 2013 - Arotech Corporation (NasdaqGM: ARTX), a provider of quality defense and security products for the military, law enforcement and homeland security markets, announced today that it received a number of purchase orders from an OEM customer, a major global electronic defense and aerospace company. The order was for rechargeable batteries amounting to approximately $1.5 million and to be delivered in the third quarter of 2013.

The customer will be providing the batteries to its various end-customers for use primarily in military applications
