Military Batteries and Chargers for Military Applications

The Military Power Source activity incorporates two centers of excellence. The “Battery Pack and Charger” activity focuses on the development and production of high-end primary and secondary batteries and associated chargers. Our know-how has a high added value in that as military Power Sources are becoming more complex, there are only a handful of manufacturers worldwide with the appropriate capability. While we purchase the electrochemical cells, all related activities to manufacture batteries or chargers are done in-house.

The second center of excellence is the “Zinc-Air Battery Technology” activity which concentrates on our historical line of business, developing and producing high power Zinc-Air Batteries for the US military. We are the only company to possess a NSN number for “Zinc Air” and thus the sole supplier of this technology to the US military. Our unique expertise in this technological area is drawn from the R&D efforts for over a decade. We manufacture both the electrochemical cells and the battery end product. We are the world-recognized leader in “High Power Zinc-Air”. We are currently being funded to develop the next generation of Zinc Air batteries.
